About This Beer
Like a classic German opera, this Altbier received a standing O from the crowd!
For starters, it’s a Rhineland classic. See, the Altbier is one of the oldest styles in Germany’s storied history of beer making. Brewers use yeasts commonly seen in Ales. However, they ferment them in a cooler atmosphere (like Lagers). The result: a classic style of malty brew goodness!
Tasting Notes
Wayfinder’s deep red rendition of the olden brew style comes filled with those slightly spicy, and wholly crushable toasted bread flavors. Since they dry hopped it with a touch of Spalter Select Hops, you also get a hint of floral aroma on the nose leading off every tantalizing sip.
