About This Beer
“Dark Mild is arguably the closest thing to a hug you’ll find in a pint glass.” –VinePair
We agree! Though rarely seen in American craft, the English Dark Mild style is a real treat! Fans of Lua Brewing had been requesting a malt driven, easy-drinking beer for ages, so the brewers finally took them up on it. This is the brewery’s very first foray into English-style brews!

malty but not sweet. Nice complex head that laces the glass.

Great flavor for a low ABV beer. Malty, roasty & a little smoky.

Malty ale. Feels like I should be in an English pub with sawdust floors. It won’t be for everyone but stellar

This beer was awesome! I was only going to have a taste of it, but had to drink the whole thing and regret not getting many more bottles. This is probably the best tasting, lowest ABV beer I've ever had. It's malty, nutty, biscuity, roasty, savory, & absolutely chuggable.... if more bottle were purchased.

great malt on the front with the dark roast present. Grassy hops in the middle, with a return to the malt on the end. solid beer.

Light body, hint of malt, caramel, and bread, with a smooth finish. For a light beer, this beer packs a decent flavor profile.

Very drinkable at 4.6%, with the right balance of maltiness
and a very light sweetness. Enjoyed with dinner.

A little sweet, a little smoky,
and a little bitter. Overall, a smooth, easy-going, and inoffensive dark beer for all palates.
