About This Beer
It’s fitting that SingleCut Beersmith named their experimental Schwarzbier Free Form Jazz Odyssey. They took their richly nutty and refreshingly light German-style base and got freaky, adding mounds of cocoa and coconut!
Tasting Notes
Just like an improvised solo, swigs of this cool cat are far-out without straying too far from the theme. The malty backbone keeps the chocolate in the pocket but gives it enough room to tickle your taste buds like fudgy fingers on the ivories. Notes of tropical sweetness skip across your palate, lending a hint of creaminess to the pleasantly dry finish.

Mild chocolate notes in both aroma and taste. Didn’t find any coconut. Good malty, dark lager.
