The brewers at Hubbard’s Cave have created 50 different versions of their Fresh IIPA, but they keep bringing today’s back for one simple reason — it’s their ‘house favorite!’

And, you know what? It’s a Tavour house favorite, too. We’ve shared more than 20 beers from this series with all of you Hazeheads, and today’s Fresh IIPA V4 is tied for highest scoring version. The first time we managed to smuggle a few cans out of Chicago, you all rated it an eye-catching 4.23!

So, when we heard the brewers were re-releasing this fan favorite, we knew we had to get another stash. 

It’s like the brewers juiced boatloads of tangy oranges and pineapples, then topped it with ripe peaches, and stirred it together with a resinous spruce bough. How they squeeze all that flavor out of just Mosaic and Simcoe Hops is a matter of pure skill.

If you’re like most craft fans, your personal ‘house favorite’ probably changes all the time — that’s the fun of discovering new beers and new breweries. But, some things are always worth revisiting.
