About This Beer
Firestone Walker has taken the recipe for their GABF-medal-winning Flanders-style Kriek beer Kreiky Bones and reimagined it with double the amount of Montmorency cherries. That’s a whole 3.5 pounds of fruit per gallon!
As Master Blender Jim “Sour Jim” Crooks put it, “The Krieky skeleton is now raised to the rafters as buckets of electrified cherry rain down, giving new life to a long-buried relative.”
Tasting Notes
Huge bursts of tart cherry flavor sing from the glowing red pour, along with hints of lemongrass, and crusty bread. On the sip, tangy citrus precedes bubbly cherry notes, echoing through layers of graham cracker and hints of baking spice. It’s like a tart cherry pie, magically transformed into a beer!

Take a great wild ale (just perfect on the tart scale) and add cherries. They really augment this ale. Fantastic!
