Fortunately for all you pucker-craving beer lovers, the holidays are coming a little early this year. Casey sent us a special three-bottle bundle that you won’t see outside of Colorado except for right here!

Ready to spread some boozy, barrel-fermented holiday cheer with a special someone? Here are the Sour treats in today’s bundle:

Fruit Stand - Nectarine (Majestic Pearl) - 5.5% ABV

Every taste of this nectarous tongue teaser is like slowly unwrapping a gift and discovering the juicy surprises within! To craft this succulent Fruit Stand batch, Casey aged their Saison base beer in oak barrels on nearly 2 lbs of Majestic Pearl nectarines per gallon. This fruit is renowned for its lush density and sweet flavor. 

The brew has been conditioning in the bottle since mid-August, its ripe fruit flavors deepening and becoming even more supremely sippable. There’s delightful, palate-buzzing tanginess and gentle funk from the Saison base, with increasing nectarine juice and a honey-like character on each sip.

Funky Blender Preserves - Blueberry + Raspberry - 7.0% ABV

This deep crimson pour and tannic body fits right in among the glasses of wine at holiday dinners, but its berry-tastic layers elevate it above! To achieve all that fruit-forward goodness, Casey aged this Sour Ale in oak barrels with over 4 lbs of blueberries and raspberries per gallon.

Let it warm just a little in the glass, and the brew’s juicy complexity really makes itself known. Every viscous sip of this fruit bomb dances between raspberry tart and blueberry-sweet, punctuated with hints of oaky vanilla. Oh, and it pairs fantastically with pie, cookies, and other holiday desserts!

Funky Blender Saison - 7.0% ABV

We’ve been trying to get our hands on the original Funky Blender Saison since we first teamed up with Casey last year. Each batch is highly limited and contains additional yeast cultures, along with Casey’s house culture, all fermented in oak puncheons. 

The brewers call it “an example of our purest form of blending,” and it’s clear what they mean on the sip. Without any fruit to mask it, the bretty funk comes through strong, rounded out with oak notes and a nice, gently bitter hop finish. It’s tangy and nuanced, with natural lemon and white grape notes, and it’s positively delectable.
