A Note on This Beer
The Beer:
Double Oaked Imperial Stout with Coconut fermented on Oak Foeders.
Aged 6 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels. Then Transferred to Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon Barrels for an additional 8 months. Finished on Toasted Coconut.
The Brewery:
Hands down, Anchorage Brewing is one of the most sought after breweries when it comes to boozy Dark Beers. Outside of Alaska, their brews are notoriously hard to find and fans clamor to get their hands on bottles of the most coveted sippers, like Deal with the Devil, Time Waits for No One, and Endless Ending. Anchorage’s impressive list of collabs — with top craft breweries like Tired Hands, Mikkeller, Hill Farmstead, and Monkish — is enough to make any in-the-know craft lover go weak in the knees. Hype: One of Thrillist’s Best Breweries in America.
Tavour strictly supports independent beer. Anchorage Brewing Company is certified independent by the Brewers Association
