About This Beer
Whether you’re steeped in Scotland’s rich heritage or a Loch Ness Monster skeptic, you won’t want to miss your chance to grab this boozy Scotch Ale — the first of the style from a crew Thrillist says “brews some of the best beer in NYC!”
Tasting Notes
A malty backbone anchors the sip as luxurious notes of caramel-drizzled plums rush your palate. The subtle sweetness plays foil to mild hop bitterness, balancing the full-bodied gulp. And it all washes away with a kiss of roasted grains that perfectly masks the 10% ABV.

A decent Scotch Ale …. nice flavor on the front end …. finish is a bit different …. it’s no Belhaven, but it’s okay 🍻

Dark brown pour, mostly clear, creamy off-white head. Earthy, malty aroma, nutty. Taste is sweet, malty, nutty, light peat notes. ABV creeps in, first in the background, then in the finish. Solid throughout.
