About This Beer
The brewers started with a bold and malty 15% ABV Stout. They aged it in freshly emptied bourbon barrels for 10 months, then transferred it to a new batch of bourbon barrels for an additional 13 months. Finally, for this special limited release, they finished the beer in privately selected Heaven Hill and Barton’s 1792 barrels!
Tasting Notes
That means even MORE oaky vanilla and whiskey-caramel drizzled over the baker’s chocolate and espresso tones that make FF’s dark beers so celebrated. And we’re expecting the same shockingly smooth finish that made us fall for their Stouts in the first place.
