About This Beer
Gathering Stone Fruit (2022) is dripping with juicy, whole local apricots, nectarines and plums. The brewers started by fermenting the fruit using carbonic maceration — which occurs from the inside out, using carbon dioxide instead of yeast, making for a juicier brew! Then, they refermented it with a blend of mixed-culture Golden Sour Ales and barrel-aged Saison.
Tasting Notes
Lush aromas of apricot and a subtle, hay-like funk perfume the air with each pour. Sparkling currents of summer succulence splash across the palate, backed by bright acidity, wisps of oak, and a dash of barnyard funk.
