About This Beer
The crew at Casey started out with a spontaneously fermented Ale brewed with a touch of spelt for a full-bodied sip. After extensive aging in oak barrels, they conditioned the brew with two pounds per gallon of fresh, local blackberries.
Tasting Notes
Zippy berry flavor floods every sip, accented by nuances of lemon zest and fresh cut hay. A touch of vinous character rounds out the sip, with hints of plum and grape, leading to a crisp, approachable finish.
