About This Beer
To make it, Casey first crafted a base using a hint of spelt. The grain adds body to the brew and encourages the yeasts to develop a different flavor profile than the traditional barley. After aging the Ale in oak barrels, they added about two pounds per gallon of whole, ripe Cresthaven peaches.
Tasting Notes
Lemon and hayloft aromas accent the succulent waves of sweet-tart Colorado-grown stone fruit swirling through every supple sip. A bright and balanced tang carries through to the finish with earthy, oaky nuances adding sublime depth.
