A Note on This Beer

Drinking a Piña Colada out of a coconut? So overrated. Drinking a Mango Colada out of a vessel covered in glitter? Now, THAT'S how you do it!

Levante Brewing crafts their Glitter Parts beers for the summer time, taking their New England hazies and adding luscious fruits to the mix. This time around, they replicated the tropical coconut cocktail, and added some ripe mango for extra awesomeness!

The fragrant, hoppy punch from Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, Azacca, and El Dorado Hops starts off every sip. But, the real bliss hits when the additions of ripe mango, coconut, vanilla, and lactose swirl together to create a refreshingly tangy and luxuriously sweet drink.

Glitter Series Mango Colada takes the idea of Piña Colada and kicks it up one big, juicy notch. If you really want to amp up the boozy refreshment, Heck, you could sneak a little rum in there, add a fruit garnish, and kick back with a Mango Colada Daiquiri!

Definitely tropical from hops more than fruit … not enough mango. Not getting any coconut which is fine by me. Also not very milkshakey. Kinda disappointing…

This was a good beer. But not a great milkshake IPA. Was no thicker than a normal IPA and the coconut and vanilla didn’t come out much at all. But the mango definitely smoothed it out and I enjoyed it.

Literally no taste of mango, or coconut, or lactose… tastes like a standard IPA with no special flavors. Highly disappointed.

I was nervous this beer was going to be overly sweet from the description, but it wasn’t! Solid taste from start to finish. it gets the job done

peaches and slight stone fruit but no true mango, very very little vanilla on the finish had to really search for it, no coconut, and mouthfeel soft but not like other milkshake IPAs I’ve had, few like they left out some ingredients on this batch
