As soon as I saw today’s can art, I couldn’t help but think of my all-time favorite Christopher Walken SNL sketch: “The Googly Eyes Gardener.” Forget “More Cowbell.” Here, Walken plays a man who’s so scared of his house plants, he puts googly eyes on them to make their appearances more palatable. 

As for the 5x GABF medal winners at Wander Brewing, they put googly eyes on this massive IPA just for fun! 

The Citra-powered hopbomb is inviting on its own with beautiful aromas of fresh-cut oranges and grapefruit zest — those buggy eyes adorning the can simply make for a cute bonus.

And there’s definitely no need to dress up those bright tangerine flavors. A ripple of resinous pine runs along the backend, delivering succulent complexity in every sip. Let it linger for hints of juicy mango on the finish!

If you do start talking like Christopher Walken, that’ll be from the booze. It may not taste like it, but Googly Eyes IPA comes with a buzzy 8.5% ABV!
