About This Beer
To craft this obsidian dream, the California crew started with a crisp yet malty base brimming with toasty tones. Then they balanced the dark beer flavors with plenty of hops, giving it all a pithy twist of citrus and resin.
Tasting Notes
Roasty coffee and toasted pumpernickel notes cascade into soft pine and vibrant grapefruit on every silky sip. Hints of cocoa and orange peel swirl underneath before a refreshingly herbaceous finish that begs another taste. Careful though — this shadowy sipper completely cloaks its 8% ABV!
