About This Beer
The celebrated NYC crew crafted this inky refresher with a blend of dark and light Munich malts, allowing their complexity to shine. Then they cold-fermented it in an American oak foudre, imbuing the brew with extra oaky depth.
Tasting Notes
Soft swigs carry toasted pumpernickel tones across your taste buds backed by hints of mocha and hazelnut. And the super-smooth body glides into a crisp finish accented by a whisper of subtle, herbaceous bitterness.

Dark golden pour had me taken aback at first, off-white foamy head. Grainy malty aroma, toasty. Taste is bready, sweet, like a very rich helles. Creamy feel, toasty malts linger. Not your typical Dunkel.

Crisp, but a bit different than I expected from a Dunkel. A little bit bready, and maybe grassy too
