A Note on This Beer
Here are a few things I can’t resist diving into:
A refreshing alpine lake on a hot, summer day.
A round of frisbee with my buddies after work.
A juicy IPA brimming with hops — anytime!
If you’re a hophead like me, you know that not just any ol’ IPA will do — especially to quench your thirst during some fun in the sun. Nope, those 7-11 sleepers won’t cut it.
Which is why I shared today’s Stormbreaker brew with my pack of park-going pals, who immediately forgot all about frisbee-tossing and started spouting about the beer instead.
“Handful of Hops?! More like ‘Mouthful of Hops’! Me likey!”
“El Dorado, Mosaic, and Simcoe!? Man, that’s a power hop trio if I’ve ever tasted one!”
“I was supposed to share?! There’s the bottom of the can…”
Finally, I mentioned that StormBreaker sits high atop a shiny treasure chest of local and national awards. And that we have less than 20 cases of this fresh-batch IPA to share on Tavour. And that craft fans go ga-ga over Handful of Hops for its inviting floral aromas, fruity notes of white grape and lychee, wisps of caramel, and dry finish.
But by then, my friends had already moved the frisbee game out into the lake — hands hoisted high above the water, each with an IPA in tow.
StormBreaker Brewing has won 15 Gold Medals from the Oregon Beers Awards, U.S. Open Beer Championship, Best of Craft Beer Awards, World Beer Cup, North American Beer Awards, and the Beer Army Beer Wars!
*These guys label their fresh dates a little differently — 1572020 on the bottom of the can translates to “canned on the 157th day of 2020,” or June 5, 2020.
Tavour strictly supports independent beer. StormBreaker Brewing is certified independent by the Brewers Association
