After an extended rest in 10 yr Russell’s Reserve bourbon, 6 yr Willett Family Estate rye, and 20 yr Elijah Craig bourbon barrels this inky black beauty emerged teeming with cask character.
Tasting Notes
Notes of dark chocolate and toffee accentuate the roasty malt base. Dark fruit and nutty undertones carry throughout the thick sip, leading to stellar vanilla oak, rye spice, and whiskey caramel nuances on the finish. All while keeping the 17.5% ABV ridiculously smooth.
