About This Beer

When it came time to craft their Haunted Hayride Pumpkin Ale (2021), the GABF medal winners at Masthead had to think outside of the gourd.

So, they went to Great Pumpkin-sized proportions and added a massive amount of cinnamon sticks, freshly-cracked nutmeg, fresh ginger, and real pumpkin to their succulent, seasonal sipper!

The result is a creamy-bodied, liquified pumpkin pie-like sensation reminiscent of Mom’s special recipe. And, after a swig or two, I’m feeling as giddy as a kid diggin’ into the infamous fall dessert!

Malty, bready lager with a subtle spice profile that doesn't outshine the brew. Nutmeg and cinnamon come on slowly, building to a bit of vegetal pumpkin that clings as it fades.
