About This Beer
For the 2024 vintage, the brewers start with a long fermentation on a high gravity wort for a big and burly base. Then they aged it for one year in port barrels, and an additional year in cognac and rye whiskey barrels to really develop an exquisite cask character.
Tasting Notes
Look forward to notes of plum and toffee mingling throughout a near-still sip. Meanwhile, complex oak, rye spice, whiskey, and brandy tones should pepper the finish, making for a truly sophisticated nightcap.

Sweet (almost too sweet), fruity. Thick ale. long legs. not very boozy up front for being 18% (this one can sneak up on you). would buy again.

Boozy and delicious. Caramel, dark fruit, and subtle spiciness. Smooth and very sweet. Drink with caution!
