A Note on This Beer
Beer nerds of Tavour, get stoked! Today you’ve got a shot at tasting the juicy magic of Phantasm Powder for possibly the first time… if you’re quick.
To craft today’s experimental NEIPA, the brewers at New Image used heaps of the newfound invention to accentuate the flavors of Hella Phantastic’s NZ Cascade, Nelson Sauvin, and Betty Blend* hop profile!
How does it work? You see, phantasm powder is made from freeze dried Sauvignon Blanc grape skins. These skins have lots of thiols in them — the same stuff that produces the fruity characteristics in hops!
Crack open the can, and aromas of freshly sliced mangoes and apricots swirl on the nose. Take a sip, and swells of ripe melon, tangy-sweet pineapple, and plush passionfruit erupt on the palate — all from the hops, and amplified by the Phantasm Powder!
*Betty is a special hop blend developed by New Image’s friends at Freestyle Farms!
