After all 666 cases are sold out, the brew will go down in history as a collector’s item for both craft fiends and comic book nerds. Heck, as a limited one-off brew with specially-designed bottle art from Hellboy comics artist Mike Mignola, it’s already there. 

And in a beer series that’s become one of the most memorable of 2019, this final installment might just be the most irreplaceable. 

Not only is Trevor Bruttenholm the bookend to Gigantic’s popular Hellboy series — it’s also the only British Barleywine in the bunch. 

Additionally, this is the only one Gigantic recommends be cellared — essences of toffee, caramel, dark plum, and cherry will all deepen and become even more delectable over time. Even so, you’ll still get full doses of these flavors if you crack open the bottle now, along with subtle citrus notes. Now’s your one-and-only opportunity to snag an extra bottle to try it both ways! 

And while the other Hellboy beers all sat pretty at 6.66% ABV, Trevor clocks in at a mind-buzzing 9.99% ABV!

We feel beyond lucky that Tavour managed to get a stash of this highly-limited beer, especially since it’s super hard to spot outside the Pacific Northwest. Even Portland locals were restricted to just two bottles each on release day!
