About This Beer
Chicago’s More Brewing crafted Henna: Hazelnut Latte Imperial Stout with toasted hazelnuts, vanilla beans, and coffee from their friends at Dark Matter, for a delightfully bittersweet sipper.
Tasting Notes
It’s as dark as midnight and twinkles with soft carbonation. A nutty aroma and finish surround swirling notes of coffee, vanilla and chocolatey malt in the body of each sip. Vanilla’s smoothness and the 14% ABV lend additional, rippling layers to More’s delicious brew.

First opportunity to try Henna. Black as night, motor oil thick pour. The hazelnut dominates followed by a wash of vanillin roast. Perhaps still a tad on the sweet side, but it comes together nicely. Drinks well under the posted 14% abv.

best stout I've come across that gives a quiet morning coffee but is a beer.

Definitely full of coffee and chocolate flavor. Malts are well balanced. Not very sweet.
