About This Beer
To craft this stunner, the Masthead crew started with a cocoa-y base. They aged it for 24 months in rye whiskey barrels and tempered the rich, woody spice with sweet honey.
Tasting Notes
Every decadent quaff carries nuances of bittersweet chocolate, bourbon caramel, and roasty espresso. Warming rye and treacly honey mingle underneath for an unbelievably smooth, easy-drinking sipper that hides its 15.6% ABV way too well.
