A Note on This Beer
Hops: El Dorado and Galaxy. Savor the Flavor: Fight your thirst with palate-crushing flavors of juicy mandarins and sweet, blood orange marmalade. After the citrusy onslaught, you’ll taste a flash of honeydew melon and a tongue-tying burst of kushy pineapple and pine. Mouthfeel: Smooth-as-hell with a silky soft body.
Hazy IPAs weren’t always the “IT” thing in craft.
It used to be, if your IPA came out all murky and opaque, that was a no-good brew. Until one day, a couple of brewers in Vermont said “Phooey! Who says a hoppy beer needs to be clear and resinous, especially if it still tastes just as awesome!”
From there, the hazy style spread like wildfire. Hopheads found it quenches a different kind of craving, and suddenly, no longer were IPAs one-size-fits-all.
Not long afterward, a few more curious cats in the North East joined these brave brewers to lead the haze-craze. And the brewers at Connecticut Valley Brewing were among those early pioneers.
They cast their line early and made big waves across the region with their Hazy IPAs — even gaining recognition from Paste Magazine for Best IPAs and winning Great International Beer Competition Awards along the way. And ever since, their juicebombs have impressed the pants off New England craft fans.
And today’s Hopman is the newest juicy brew from Connecticut Valley to quench the thirst of the region’s hopheads.
Crafted with a bright and fruity hop duo of El Dorado and Galaxy, and brewed with a lusciously soft body, every sip of this New England-style IPA goes down with juicy justice. But you will find neither hide nor hair of Hopman in any state west of the Mississippi — at least, not without knowing where to look.
Lucky for you, that search is already over — today, we’re hookin’ you up with a taste of this brand-new juicebomb from one of the country’s Hazy pioneers! Grab a couple of cans and take a moment to appreciate the hard work and innovation that goes into exploring the untread paths of craft beer.
