About This Beer

The award-winning zombie lovers at Drekker brewed Hyper Scream with what they call an “irresponsible” amount of hops, fermented it with Nordic Kveik yeast, and then dry-hopped it with even MORE Citra and Vic Secret Hops!

Tasting Notes

The aroma is as dank and pungent as a Cypress Hill concert, with waves of ripe pineapple and tangy orange flavor. Just a hint of bitterness comes through on the finish, luring you back for more.

Yeast profile makes for an interesting IPA; lingering bitter dank. The usual Drekker backbone is present. Good but different; which is GOOD 😊

Really solid and in the more traditional profile of an ipa with a malty and bitter hop profile.

Far more than just a “hint” of bitterness. there’s some good flavors up front but the bitterness at the end is overpowering. all that said, it’s still a far cry from the worst IPA I’ve ever had.
