About This Beer
The crew began with Pilsen malt and corn and lightly hopped it with rarely-seen Taiheke before conditioning the brew on oodles of fresh tangerine zest. Finally, they finished it on bergamot tea, for a refined undertone.

A beer with tangerine in the title should probably taste a little citrus-like….nope.
The bergamot underneath is well done though.

Very crushable citrusy lager

Hazy yellow gold pour. Frothy white head dissipates down to a half-inch cap. Fragrant tangerine aroma. Light, sweet tangerine flavor upfront. Added notes of corn, oil of Bergamot and orange pith. Light and spicy.

Fruity, pretty refreshing.

Interesting. Not sure what to think. Don’t get a lot of the tea or tangerine. But it is a different tasting lager.
