A Note on This Beer
With each silky slurp of today’s fresh-off-the-canning-line, chocolate-tangerine Ice Cream Paint Job, I’m growing increasingly nostalgic. I feel like a kid, licking-up a melty double-scoop of rocky road and creamsicle ice cream!
Divine Barrel crafts it with massive amounts of tangy tangerines, and rich vanilla for refreshing layers of citrus n’ cream. Then, they add a hint of cacao nibs and velvety lactose to recreate all the soft and sweet desserty-goodness of a mile-high sundae, topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
Flavors of chocolate-dipped marshmallow explode on the forefront of the palate. On the finish, a subdued citrusy-tartness lingers, pulling you in for another lick, er… sip!
Just be careful not to slurp this childhood delight too fast. It goes down quicker than a bowl of melted ice cream, and us ice cream enthusiasts know just how painful a brain-freeze can be!
