A Note on This Beer

With each silky slurp of today’s fresh-off-the-canning-line, chocolate-tangerine Ice Cream Paint Job, I’m growing increasingly nostalgic. I feel like a kid, licking-up a melty double-scoop of rocky road and creamsicle ice cream!

Divine Barrel crafts it with massive amounts of tangy tangerines, and rich vanilla for refreshing layers of citrus n’ cream. Then, they add a hint of cacao nibs and velvety lactose to recreate all the soft and sweet desserty-goodness of a mile-high sundae, topped with a dollop of whipped cream.

Flavors of chocolate-dipped marshmallow explode on the forefront of the palate. On the finish, a subdued citrusy-tartness lingers, pulling you in for another lick, er… sip!

Just be careful not to slurp this childhood delight too fast. It goes down quicker than a bowl of melted ice cream, and us ice cream enthusiasts know just how painful a brain-freeze can be!

Definitely a sour! I like the tangerine nose. Very apparent and it smells like what you’re gonna get. However, I wish the cream and chocolate finish was stronger.

Needs a touch more sweetness, and that amazing waffle cone deliciousness. Sour to the core at first, giving way to a wheaty and light finish. Missing a bit on the cocoa though.

Wheaty and light. Subtle on the orange and citrus. Not much other than that detected. A slightly champagne aftertaste as well as mouthfeel.

I could smell what it's claimed to be, but couldn't taste it. All that came through was the tangerine - throughout the entire can. It wasn't bad, just not anywhere close to its description and that was a disappointment.

Tangerine is definitely there. Chocolate vanilla and lactose are definitely absent. Very then and tastes like a regular gose or kettle sour

Very good beer to drinking after a busy day at work. Open the can poured it in to my glass and enjoyed the relaxing taste it of its creamy and sweet taste. Wonderful beer.

Best to chill close to freezing, roll can once then pour. At the start you taste the tangerine and after notes of coco and home made roasted waffle notes
