Today’s Imaginary Rulebook IIPA meets every single guideline in my own IPA rulebook: 

Rule #1: It must come from an awesome brewery. No worries on this one! This Hazy juicebomb hails from Divine Barrel Brewing — one of Thrillist’s Essential Breweries in Charlotte, North Carolina! 

Rule #2: It must be epically hopped. I can check this one off the list. The brewers double dry-hop this brew with massive doses of Citra, El Dorado, and Idaho 7! 

Rule #3: It must taste spectacular. Yes, and yes! Every sip of this brew is loaded with flavors of ripe pineapple, drippy mango, and ruby red grapefruit. And it’s all wrapped in a smooth and pillowy mouthfeel that hides every hint of the solid 8% ABV.
