About This Beer
The KS crew began by aging a fudgy Imperial Stout base for 21 months in a blend of bourbon barrels. Then they finished it with seven months in Bardstown Bourbon casks that previously held red wine.
Tasting Notes
You can expect luxuriant dark chocolate notes accentuated by shades of raisin and caramel. Cherry, plum, and oaky vanilla nuances ought to amplify the richness of each smooth, inky sip as they mingle with the deep, cocoa-y base.

Very good stout. Complex and balanced. The wine barrels definitely change the finish. Good stuff.
