About This Beer
The brewers started with their long beloved (and always highly rated) Infinite Wishes Stout base, aged it in bourbon barrels, then loaded it with real hazelnut, rich chocolate, and silky vanilla.

Very thin for a stout, and the barrel influence (ethanol) dominates the flavor. The hazenuts come through slightly, but with an unnatural profile that reminds you of a liqour instead of a beer. After some time, you actually get notes that it tastes like a bitter amaretto! Basically an amaretto stout, which is odd since this is supposed to be with hazenuts and not almonds. Vanilla chocolate amaretto with hints of hazenuts.
