Calling today’s 4.39 UT-rated BA Strong Ale an absolute showstopper isn’t much of an Intrepid Observation. It’s more like an undeniable fact!

How could it not be coming from the dark beer specialists at Bottle Logic? 

To craft it, they combed through their cellar to find their favorite casks of their FOBAB Best in Show-winning Fundamental Observation Imperial Vanilla Stout, selecting beers aged in Blanton’s, Weller, and Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. Then they perused their collection of Intrepid Orchid English Style Barleywine, choosing barrels from Whistlepig 10-year, Bernheim, and Heaven Hill. 

And every single one of those brews had slumbered on piles of hand processed Madagascar vanilla beans!

Decadent nuances of dark chocolate, nougat, and caramel cascade into silky creme brûlée tones on every thick sip. Brown sugar and date notes mingle with velvety vanilla-oak underneath, none of it giving any hint of the 12.7% ABV.

It’d pair beautifully with a sumptuous pecan pie or make a sensational dessert all on its own. You could even grab an extra bottle to gift to the barrel fan in your life. Odds are probable they’ll be beyond impressed… and that’s pretty much a fact.
