About This Beer
To craft this release, the brewers aged their beer in bourbon barrels using the Solera method. Put simply, that means they let one beer age in a barrel, then they took some out, and topped off the barrel with new beer. And they’ve kept the blend going since the very beginning, adding each new anniversary beer to the barrel!
Which means 14 years of special brews are represented in every bottle of Ivoire!
Tasting Notes
Nuances of toffee and vanilla balance beautifully beside notes of plum and raisin. It all cascades through layers of oak before plunging into a deeply flavorful yet surprisingly dry finish. Let a drop linger, and you might discover hints of chocolate and caramel, burying the massive 17.2% ABV.

was good but overpriced.

An amazing barrel aged old ale. The barrel asserts itself well on a layer of flavors, but the feel on this one is perfect.

Rich and deep bourbon flavor with toffee and fig notes. Very good, yet super strong

This brew looks beautiful and sounds good on paper, but is very harsh on the palette. Let us be real: the only reason you are drinking this is the high ABV. I’ve had 19% way more smooth.

The rare 5-star review. This one blew me away. I wasn’t sure what to expect and what I got was a complex ale that tasted like some of the best Belgian brews mixed with a holiday beer.

Barrel & bourbon front & center. Sweet, caramel & brown sugar.
