About This Beer
Ash & Elm Cider Co. created a local take on the G&T, first infusing this Cider with gin-like botanicals — juniper berries, black peppercorns, pink peppercorns, and fresh lime zest. Then, they added locally-foraged spicebush berries. Sometimes called “Appalachian allspice,” the fruit adds a complex, floral-spicy element that pairs deliciously with apples.

If I’m being honest, I don’t really taste any juniper. Just a slightly more citrusy cider. It’s fine.

plain cider. not sweet or gin flavored at all.

A gin and tonic in cider form. Crisp and dry, with botanical notes of juniper and a tang of lime. By far the most interesting, and one of the very best, ciders I’ve tried. Regretting not buying more.
