About This Beer

Prior to its return, Key Lime Pie was one of the most requested by fans of the Meadery. It took two years, but the Melomel is back and better than fans remember. That’s because for the latest batch, Garagiste utilized a new yeast strain for more tropical esters and more perceived sweetness. A lower ABV ensures less potential burn, meaning this slice of pie goes down oh-so-smooth!

Lime and honey are almost too balanced, giving this one a kind of floral fruitiness that's not quite pie. Slight hint graham or vanilla creeps in as it fades. Tasty, but less pie-like than I was hoping for.

tasted like really sweet honey water mixed with lime juice it’s was pretty terrible and had me feeling sick in the morning. I would not buy again

defiantly a key lime pie taste but tough to drink more than an oz or two. more of a dessert shot. sipping it makes the experience much better. grows on you.

my wife is celiac and loves key lime pie! I love that this is a gluten free mead (most are naturally but when you add other things in it that can change). A well rounded mead, very sweet with an aftertaste of key lime and graham crackers. One of their favorites of mine.

Very, very sweet, the lime isn't super present, but it is like pie. Wife didn't like it, so I drank nearly the whole bottle myself in a sitting. Don't recommend that.

Mead is not my thing, but this stuff is great. It manages to hit on a bold flavor like key lime pie, and yet still maintain the same consistencies of what a mead needs to be. I do have to say.. a little expensive even for this app though.
