About This Beer
pFriem began with a soft, tangy base featuring wheat and aged, whole leaf Noble Hops. Then they fermented this Lambic-inspired mixed-culture beauty in French oak barrels before conditioning it on Pacific Northwest-foraged huckleberries.
Tasting Notes
Complex aromas of wild berries and hay entice you in for a taste. On the sip, notes of leather, horse blanket, and tilled earth harmonize with a mild, fruity sweetness and hint of lemon zest. Cellar whispers and dried blueberry tones linger beyond the finish, adding up to a brew that’s sure to hold you rapt.

The huckleberries in this have never been successfully cultivated so they were hand-foraged from a national park in the PNW. The flavor matches this care and hard work. Dry, berry flavor, similar to a grape/wine-ale hybrid. Wow.
