About This Beer
The True Respite crew brews Lagerhosen in the traditional Bavarian style, using the Noble Hop varieties Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Perle. They also use copious amounts of Vienna Malt all the way from Weyermann’s Specialty Malts in Germany.
And, it’s not just their tried-and-true ingredients that make this Lager special. The water at the brewery is naturally the same softness as the water in Munich, making for an even more authentic German taste!
Tasting Notes
Lagerhosen pours a beautiful shade of copper, with the scent of warm crescent rolls baking on an Autumn morning. Each sip imparts a smooth, full-bodied mouthfeel with notes of toasted bread and a whisper of candied sweetness.

This is such a smooth drinking Octoberfest. Not overly grainy...easy drinking with plenty of flavor.

Alright Oktoberfest - I prefer more malty flavors than this had (tasted a little thin to me)

He said: well balanced, smooth with those biscuit flavors and notes of caramel and toffee that you’d expect. But still refreshing. Really good. She said: Nice! It has that roasty, toasty mouthful you want without any one element overpowering the beer. Supremely drinkable. A great Oktoberfest.

A near perfect Oktoberfest beer. I wish I could have it in my fridge all year.

Malty and Oktoberfesty, etc., etc., but there’s something just a bit minerally and... off about this. I wouldn’t buy this a second time.

Good malty marzen. Having on our first cool fall day. Perfect!

A rather unremarkable, under carbed malt bomb. Not horrible, but it’s so heavy there’s almost zero head.
