To make this super-limited brew, the beer engineers at Grimm Artisanal Ales aged a rich BW base in cognac barrels, letting it luxuriate in all that sophisticated oaky, brandy nuance.
Tasting Notes
Notes of dried dates cascade overtop a mild malty sweetness on the front of the swig. Hints of woodspice and top shelf spirits accentuate the layers of caramel swirling underneath. And all that opulent flavor is swaddled in a satisfyingly medium-thick body.
