About This Beer
The strawberry banana yogurt parfait is the pinnacle of the yogurt arts. Or so I thought.
Then I tasted Layerz - Strawberry Banana. The brewers packed it full of real fruit, plus a dose of granola and a big dollop of actual vanilla yogurt!
This, my friends… THIS is perhaps the highest achievement in all of yogurt history. More than seven millenia of turning milk into goo has led to this moment, and I am staggered by the sheer magnitude of it. This stuff is freakin’ delicious.
Tasting Notes
It’s creamy, like a spoonful of a real parfait, with hints of cinnamon spice from the granola. The thick body brings a flood of rich banana and ripe berry flavor, riding a cascade of silky vanilla to a sweet finish. It’s like something you’d get at some hipster yogurt bar — without actually having to set foot in a hipster yogurt bar.

This should be a sour beer through in through because I hardly get fruit. Mostly strawberry up front and a bit of yogurt and banana on the back end.

Overall good straw/nana sour. Def gonna have to give it another try to get the full complexity.

I usually love strawberry banana, but this one just wasn't as flavorful and sweet as I wanted

Strong strawberry and banana flavor with light creamy vanilla notes. Tastes better as you drink, wish it was a little more thick.

Tart with more banana or the nose than taste.
3.5
Strawberry and banana upfront with a nice tart kick. Light finish with notes of granola
