A Note on This Beer
I thought I was a pretty good baker. Until I attempted a Lemon Meringue Pie.
After slaving away in the kitchen for an eternity, my “pie” looked a little lumpy, and it tasted more than a little bland.
So, in an attempt to save the evening and curb my ferocious sweet-cravings, I cracked open a can of Westbrook Brewing’s Lemon Meringue Pie Sour! Let me tell you, I’m gonna leave the pie baking to these South Carolina brewmasters from now on.
Additions of real lemon, Madagascar vanilla, and cinnamon generate notes of lip-puckering citrus filling, luscious meringue, and cinnamon-spiced graham cracker crust. Not to mention, Westbrook brewed this one with lactose for a milkshake-smooth finish.
Fans on social media are infatuated with Lemon Meringue Sour, calling its succulent flavors “pure heaven.” Those people are lucky, because new releases from Westbrook are hard to come by — outside of a few east coast locations, Tavour is one of the only spots to snag a can of Lemon Meringue for yourself!
Save yourself the failed-pie heartbreak and crack open a can of Westbrook’s dessert, instead.
Westbrook is mentioned on practically every “best from every state” list from USA Today, Thrillist, and even Business Insider!
