About This Beer

Resident Culture were struck by inspiration when they crafted their flagship IPA, Lightning Drops. The crew hopped it with heaps of Citra, Mosaic, and Strata to craft a brew whose nuances echo through each brilliant sip.

Hip Hazies like this are what earned the Charlotte, NC team a Breakout Brewer nod from Craft Beer & Brewing before they even celebrated their second anniversary!

Tasting Notes

Each plush swig gushes with bright notes of freshly squeezed orange juice and glimmers of pineapple, mango, and guava. A piney dankness comes through in the satisfyingly bitter finish to this hop bomb.

4.46/5 look: 4.75 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a IPA glass. Look- Pale straw, hazy, sudsy white head, average head retention and lacing. Smell- Mango, orange, slightly dank. Taste- Orange, pithy, earthy, pineapple, mango. Feel- Medium body, slightly below average carbonation, low bitterness, creamy. Overall- Great beer with nice balance.

Excellently done Hazy, great flavor, not too bitter/dank. The 6.5% Abv is near perfect for this style. Practically no aftertaste! Loved it!
