A Note on This Beer

When one of the country’s best breweries heeds the siren’s song of Talus and Waimea Hops, it’s best to procure your cans ASAP — especially when that brewery is Anchorage.

These experts capture the New Zealand terroir flavors Waimea’s known for — today’s Hazy IPA shines with sweet orange and tangerine juiciness and crushed pine haze!

Anchorage masterfully pairs these flavors with those of Talus, a newcomer to the hop world. It’s a variety that’s been 10 years in the making, but only available since last fall! Brewers clamor to use its stunning pink grapefruit, herby citrus rind, and pine needle pungency in their beer.

As a result, Limbo DDH IPA tastes like a fresh walk through the Kodiak forest — rich aromas and flavors of sweet resin and silvery spruce pleasantly shimmer through the senses.

The giant 8.4% ABV and juicy citrus haze adds a pleasant, sweet burn reminiscent of some 24-hour Alaskan summer sunshine.

It’s the kind of big Hazy that’s helped Anchorage sky-rocket to fame amongst beer geeks and craft fans nationwide. Most recently, they even won a Craft Beer and Brewing 2020 Reader’s Choice Award!

Limbo offers a taste of Anchorage's award-winning brewing AND the heady flavors of Waimea and Talus Hops. What more could a hophead desire?

*Thrillist commends Anchorage Brewing for being one of the best breweries in the game on a national level, let alone in Alaska!

With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!

Maybe the best IPA I have ever had. Very juicy and flavorful. Citrusy and flowery at the same time, possibly a bit of hibiscus flavoring in there.

Hazy juice bomb. Citrus and tropical notes go well with the hops and bitterness.

Hazy grapefruit juice - citrusy, piney and lightly dank. Noice! Can top was damaged in shipping so didn’t want to wait long. Very cool label !

This one stands out to me in a great way. Nice and piney, with it's hops carried on an almost honey-like backbone.

Don't get the hype. These are always solid, but not life changing. Grapefruit and tangerine, funky bitterness at finish.
