Okay, I think we all realize by now that social distancing isn’t going away anytime soon. But, that doesn’t mean parties are a total no-go. Better break out the ol’ Hawaiian shirt and start exploring the exotic backdrops available on Zoom — it’s Virtual Tiki Party time! 

No need to worry about booze, because today’s special socially-distanced collab from Colorado’s New Image and Ohio’s Listermann has you covered. 

This tropical 2-pack comes with two NE-style IPAs, one from each brewery. Both teams filled their creations with Michigan Chinook and Sabro Hops for bountiful citrus and pine flavors. And, fully embracing the tiki vibe, they also added doses of coconut and pineapple. 

But on the tongue, the brews’ tasty differences make themselves known. 

New Image’s version is smoothly sippable, with only a whisper of booziness from its 8.5% ABV. Grapefruit and orange citrus hop notes shine brightly right upfront, mellowing swiftly into the creamy coconut and ripe pineapple. Resinous pine shows up right on the finish.

Listermann’s packs more of a punch at 10% ABV, though they soften it with a dose of Demerrara sugar. After a whisper of earthy conifer upfront, coconut and pineapple are the silky stars throughout. Every pillowy sip comes wrapped in a refreshing cloud of tangerine and orange notes. 

Drink ‘em side by side, alternating sips, or crack one open after the other — you can’t go wrong with this duo of juicy tropicality! 

A word of advice though: let your Zoom friends know that now’s the time to hop on Tavour and grab this limited bundle. Wait until after you set up your virtual tiki party, and it’ll be long gone.
