About This Beer

Canadian rockers Five Man Electrical Band scored a top-ten hit with their anti-establishment ‘70s anthem, ‘Signs.’

The imaginative crew at North Dakota’s Drekker took the song’s ethos to heart with their US Beer Open Championship craft brews. Now they're paying homage to ‘Signs’ with Long Haired Freaky People NEIPA.

Tasting Notes

This rebellious Imperial is a love song to Vic Secret — it’s 100% hopped with them! The single-hop method gives center stage to the ripe passionfruit and sharp pineapple notes of the Australian cone, allowing the tropical blend to sing in a beautiful swirl of single-origin lupulin.

As succulent stone fruit and tender mandarin flavors give way to a resinous bite of pine, this hopbomb finds a balance between fruit juice and dank bitterness. And the supple body softens the brew’s surprising 8.2% ABV!
