About This Beer
Growing up, my mom didn’t drink a lot. So when she admitted to a friend at a dinner party that she loved Fuzzy Navels, child me burst out laughing not knowing she meant a delicious cocktail.
Now, like Mom, I’m a big fan of the stone fruit-soaked mixed drink. When I saw the crew at Wiley Roots whipped up a Fuzzy Navel-inspired Sparkling Sour, I had to try it!
They started with a tangy base before swirling in peach and orange puree. Spritely carbonation makes for a scintillating sip, like a mimosa.
Tasting Notes
It’s like sipping on a bright spring sunrise –– vibrant, tangy orange swirled with vivid, drippy peach all wrapped in a refreshing, effervescent body.

Super light, like a sour-cider-seltzer. Actually delicious and even a little refreshing for something classed under sour.

Tart orange, could have a little more peach

Solid if unspectacular. Not really sparkling, per se. But no weird flavors or off notes - which is a lot more that you can say for a lot of similar offerings.

great sour taste

More of a fruit ale than a sour and for a beer that is supposed to be sparkling it was very flat.
