If you’re new to Tavour, it’s time we let you in on a little secret. One of the best, under-the-radar places for tasty, fresh brews is Idaho! 

We promise we’re not even hoppin’ with you right now. 

Idaho’s Woodland Empire has been ahead of the craft curve since Tavour began. 

They brewed our first Sourdough Bread beer and our first Chocolate Lager. And today, they’ve gifted us with Love is Lies Strawberry Creamsicle IPA.

This brewery doesn’t mess around — Love is Lies brims with soft, ripe, red fruit flavor from Loral and Mosaic Hops.

They added 6 lbs per barrel of strawberries — that’s double the average amount of fruit used in a Fruit Beer — and this IPA was fruity before they even added any fruit!

Then, Woodland Empire adds, what they describe as “an entire bucket of vanilla,” and a hefty amount of creamy lactose. The result is similar to those Good Humor strawberry shortcake ice cream bars, only this thing packs complex hop aromas and 6.1% ABV. 

It’s always good to keep an eye on the beers coming out of the big cities, but skip over little Boise, ID, and you’ll miss out on some very delicious treats!
