About This Beer

To craft it, the Alaskan Haze masters started by brewing with spelt, Motueka Hops, and REAL passionfruit. Then they doused it in even more juice by double dry hopping with an extra helping of Motueka!

Tasting Notes

This sip starts out with a bright tropical tang tempered by nectarous notes of fresh squeezed OJ and drippy mango. Hints lemon zest, (lu)pine resin, and grapefruit pith round out the backend, making the 8.4% ABV go down so smooth, you can wolf down can after can.

Really interesting with being so sour but an “ipa” make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into. Sweet, slightly lemon with typical heavy citrus

A bit sour. I would think it's not to be that way. But nice flavor.

The low IBU on this one is what makes it a stand out. Really hazy with very little funkiness, so all you get is that smooth citrus flavor. This surprised the hell out of me.

Maybe it’s “Lycanthropy,” of an IIPA, so if you DON’T think of this as a IIPA (because it’s more of a Sour IPA), you will enjoy it mucho mas!

A very fruity and sour IPA, it is thick and juicy. The passion fruit really stands out in the smell and flavor. The spelt really adds to the body and creaminess of the beer.
