About This Beer
Forgotten Road Ales crafted this inky sipper with Imperial Stouts aged for 31 months in an 18-year bourbon barrel and 18 months in a cognac barrel. Then they conditioned it with maple syrup, cacao nibs, cinnamon, and coffee.
Tasting Notes
Imagine dunking a fresh, gooey cinnamon roll into a maple mocha and you have a pretty good idea what you’re in for with M 3rd 25th The Deafening Sound of Silence. Every rich, velvety quaff brims with layers of woody caramel, dark chocolate, and dark fruit, along with a pinch of earthy spice.

Strong sweet notes of chocolate maple and extremely syrupy
That being said, there is absolutely no presence of the alcohol

Sweet maple syrup, cinnamon and chocolate, develops into candied dark fruit and spicy cognac, finish is roast malt, barrel, cinnamon, bourbon and black coffee. Very sweet, 8 ounce can is the perfect size.

Dark. Thick. Rich. Oily. Dark chocolate, oak, cognac flavors rolling over the tongue. Love it.
