About This Beer
To make this one, the North Carolina crew crafted with one of their beloved Appalachia Wild Ales and fermented it on fresh local strawberries. Then they finished it in Madeira wine barrels, imparting notes of plum and caramelized sugar.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of lemon zest, berry preserves, and subtle grassy funk rise from the pour, and the taste follows with jammy notes wrapped in a tart body. Earthy, vinous notes on the finish add depth and complexity that you’ll want to explore all afternoon.
