A Note on This Beer
Manny’s Pale Ale is THE draft staple in Seattle.
From craft beer bars to high-end cocktail joints to serious dives, you’ll almost always find Manny’s. And I’m talkin’ REAL dives with loud music and leather-clad clientele! It’s been that way since 2002 when this beer first careened onto the Seattle scene.
But outside of the Pacific Northwest, you won’t see a drop. Because the brewery has never canned this beer before, and kegs rarely cross state lines.
As Georgetown founders Manny Chao and Roger Bialous said, “When we started canning beer at Georgetown Brewing, we figured leaving Manny’s Pale Ale as a draft-only beer would help us stay connected to the foundation of our business: the bars and restaurants that first served our beer.”
Now, with bars and restaurants closed for quarantine, they decided to release “Manny’s Cannys” for only a few weeks! Plus, they’re donating all the proceeds to charities that support food and beverage industry workers affected by quarantine closures!
That means, you have a rare and fleeting chance to find out why Seattle craft fans order pint after pint of this delightful brew. And, you can feel really good about it, too.
So go ahead, bask in its zingy flavors of OJ and lemon zest, from a massive addition of Northwest hops. Enjoy its malty bread crust notes. Sip its resinous finish while you kick back on the porch.
But, make sure you grab it while we have it — once this limited release comes to an end, Manny’s might never leave the Northwest again.
Georgetown was voted Favorite Brewery in the Seattle Times’ 2019 Readers Choice Awards!
